The Sparrow Fund

The Sparrow Fund is an organization committed to encouraging and supporting these families in the adventure of adoption. We do this by providing grants to families in financial need to enroll in programs specifically designed to provide counsel and comprehensive medical reviews of their referred child.

Show Hope

Through adoption assistance grants, Show Hope donors have helped provide loving, Christian families for over 2,000 waiting for orphans from 40 different countries, including the U.S.

Project Hope Ministries

Project Hope Ministries provides matching grants to Christian families that adopt older, special needs, or sibling groups from Colombia. The purpose of the match is to help encourage your friends, family, and church to give to your adoption.

National Adoption Foundation

Open to all legal adoptions or non-related children and does not exclude private adoption, agency adoption, international adoption, or special needs.

Helpusadopt.org

The Helpusadopt.org team is dedicated to helping couples/individuals overcome the seemingly insurmountable financial challenges that are associated with adoption.

Gift of Adoption Fund

Give a child a home for a lifetime! Grants are awarded regardless of religion, race, age, marital status, or sexual orientation.

Dream4Adoption

Dream4Adoption is accepting applicants for grants for the home-study phase of adopting families. This program seeks to fund up to $1,500 directly to the agency involved in your home study phase. When the adoption is finalized Dream4Adoption also gives grant recipients an additional $500 as a “Welcome Home” portion of the grant.

Anna Cheri Foundation

The foundation’s mission is to inspire people to orphan care around the world through both adoption and adoption support. They will award a grant every year to a family that is selected. For more information, please visit their website.

Buescher Foundation

Families that are adopting domestically and have been approved by an agency or facilitator can apply for a grant. There is no income requirement.

Official Statement from
Adoption by Shepherd Care

It has come to our attention that the Hulu series Good American Family contains inaccurate information regarding Adoption by Shepherd Care (ASC) and the adoption of Natalia. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify the facts.

Contrary to what is presented in the documentary, ASC did not initiate any communication or have any involvement with Mr. or Mrs. Barnett in connection to Natalia’s adoption. The legal adoption process for Natalia was completed in the state of New Hampshire, where the original adoptive family resided, and was facilitated through a New Hampshire-based agency—not Adoption by Shepherd Care.

For those seeking further clarification, we encourage you to watch The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, Season 2, Episode 1, which clearly states that Adoption by Shepherd Care was not the agency responsible for facilitating this adoption.

We want to express our respect for all agencies and professionals engaged in this vital work. However, it is essential that accurate information is shared with the public and that the correct entities are acknowledged for their role in any adoption process.

At Adoption by Shepherd Care, we remain steadfast in our mission to place children in safe, loving, and permanent homes. We uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethical practice, and compassion for the children and families we serve.

We respectfully request that the media and members of the public refrain from further spreading misinformation related to this matter. While we understand the interest in this case, we also urge respect for the privacy and dignity of all individuals involved. Adoption is a deeply personal and emotional journey that must be approached with sensitivity and integrity.

Adoption by Shepherd Care will continue its unwavering commitment to finding loving and permanent placements for children, guided by the principles of honesty, compassion, and respect.
